When feeling down what better medicine than a visit to the salon (not saloon).
Said to wife, I need to cheer up, are you coming with me.
Of course she was, as it is an enjoyable experience for all. Any way, family home is just a few metres away.
I wear my hair quite long, not very long. It needs trimming at least once a month. More important is the beard, just can not trim that correctly myself.
An hour of bliss. Three washes, a slow careful precision cut of hair. An even more precise cut of the facial hair. Razor blade to the throat. Thinking of Sweeney Todd and trying not to move lest there be a nick. Non. A final massage of scalp, neck and shoulders. The new man. Cost, 180 baht. Naturally I tipped.

buhi's post was a bit of an erotic experience, hey what ?  Reminded me of the hairdresser I used to go to just off Suk, near Soi 4, close to the Arab Quarter. First time I went there I just asked for a haircut, nothing fancy, just a number 2 comb all over. While this lady was cutting my hair this pretty little thing about 20 yo wearing the skimpiest hot-pants and crop-top decides she is going to clean the area around my chair, bending over provocatively right in front of me and wiggling her cute little bum at me. Lady cutting my hair kept asking me if I wanted to have a "massage" after my haircut, apparently the cleaning lady was also the house masseuse. I kept saying no, paid for the haircut and left. About a year after that I went back to the same hairdressers and it was like deja vu, same lady cut my hair and I swear the same cute little bum wiggling in front of me. Very funny experience, one of those things, you had to be there. |

Perhaps, but not that stupid. Wife was with me and we were all chatting, except when the razor was close to the throat. |
