The Television series is fascinating. Helped by sisters, who have some data. A few days 'research. I managed to get back to 1801 on my father's side, but not as far back on my mother's side, Scottish. Well to please Trump, that which i already knew was confirmed. A family business, groceries. Passed from one generation to the next. It broke down with my father. He refused to be the "and son" wanted his own life. To learn and be his own man . An electrical engineer. Much study, i know, he passed that on to me. The genie was out and i became . We were not close, he was demanding. A you must make it attitude, do not rely on me passing down wealth. Hard times, maybe, but we reconciled at the end. I did the exact thing he had done and moved in a different direction. Arts, not engineering. Worthwhile research. The dead remind us.

Hard times, maybe, but we reconciled at the end. I did the exact thing he had done and moved in a different direction. Arts, not engineering. Worthwhile research. The dead remind us. Of my paternal ancestry, not any surprises. Well one, but i am still researching it, goes to the 1801 ancestor. He left London. All the others remained in a small area of the East End. They were not gentry, but obviously quite "respectable" with an established business. They all used an aristocratic middle name, one i did trace back. It seems they had a right to use it. Mother's side, the real East End cockney i have always used as a mark of pride. Wrong, they were artisans, in the print trade. All had large families, so there my justification for being a randy b'std. I share, the fruits of my research. A post script, not a sign of an agricultural serf amongst them. No crofters on the Scottish side and the London family all trades people. Hey Bleth, how about that?
