Never sure myself, as i love all senses. Taste, well that goes first, smell goes with it, touch, impossible, would be fatal without it, then hearing and sight. Lucky to have had both. Choice time. My senses are diminishing with age, i choose to give up sight. Over to you.

I used to think touch was a bit overrated until I woke up that morning in an ICU and could not feel anything from the belly down. You really don't know what you got until it's gone.

Spoke to my wife about this, of her friend. Born blind, no eyes. We walked near her once, I remember it vividly, she knew it was her childhood friend. A distant family member. She knew me too. Knew I was there, although I did not speak. Her family are there for her, always have been. Her friends too and need I say, my wife. She asked for nothing, but wife gave her. If tears could flow from no eyes, then they did that moment.

I would chose to give up taste and smell, can live without them, would rather have sight and sound.

If tears could flow from no eyes, then they did that moment. The other senses kick into overdrive to compensate for whats missing in one. Knew a guy who was illiterate, if you gave him tasks to do, he would carry them out in the exact same manner you told him, what a memory.

I have already told all, my wife is dyslexic, can not read or write Thai. Yes she compensates with an incredible memory. That is a puzzle, a memory, but not for runes. I understand as i too am partially dyslexic, spelling, grammar.

And i too have an incredible memory. Sometimes it amazes me. I look at an anagram, Bangkok Post, and solve it within seconds.Yet I can not spell. How weird is that?

I'm afraid I'll have no say in all this. 'Que sera, sera'

Beethoven, could hear the music in his mind see the notes. How frustrating was that? I am sure given the choice he would have chosen sound over vision. We have no choice though.
