Star Wars heavy metal album crowd funded for £50,000: WATCH Galactic Empire here
A STAR WARS themed heavy band called Galactic Empire has eight million views on YouTube and will release their first album after crowd funding £50,000.
With over eight million hits on YouTube for their Main Theme and Imperial March singles, the band has become something of a pop culture phenomenon.
Appearing in Death Star themed music videos, the band play covers of John Williams’ iconic soundtrack dressed as Star Wars villains including Darth Vader, Boba Fett and a Stormtrooper.
After their cover of The Star Wars Theme was released last year, Galactic Empire have managed to crowd fund almost £50,000 to record a full album and plan tour dates.
