A polite Thai conversation opener, an acknowledgement that you exist, are of the community.
Long past the obvious reply of what has it got to do with you. It is not the intention to pry.
Unfortunately my (our if with my wife) reply is rather boring.
Most common:
To, from 7/11.
Next, to from Seacon.
Quite often, to from Pa Oih , to have lunch.
Frequently, to from Paradise.
The last is my favourite .
To Paradise and back in a few hours.
The tale i told of Pongsit, my builder friend, when plastered, i asked him the question.
"Paradise,".
"I'm coming with you, ".
Hopped in his pick up and off we went to Paradise and back.
