Here's the story.
Thai lady , living in Australia with Australian citizenship.
She wants her sister to come and visit Australia, but her sister lives in Cambodia , not a Thai citizen.
So neither sister has the others citizenships or passports.
How does the Cambodian sister get a 3 month sponsored holiday visa to visit Australia?

Hopefully she can just go to the Embassy and apply for one without any drama, don't know if the fact that her sister has a different passport should matter. As long as she is sponsored by someone in Oz.
Is there a Cambodian based forum where you can ask the question ?

Last time I looked for advice on something over there I was attacked and called a "Junta-fanboy" ! The forum I was on had nothing to do with politics. Bit like being labeled a "leftie-lovie" on here. Re' the visa for Oz, I will contact a mate of mine who lives in PP, he might know a bit about it.

Sadly the reason the sisters ended up in different countries was because of the khmer rouge. A few made it into Thailand while the other half of the family was forced to stay in Cambodia. With any luck that situation isnt uncommon and the embassy will be good about it.
