I signed into FB today and there's an appeal for Nepal run by Facebook - so a couple of clicks later and I made a donation. I thought that was a great idea by FB - and they've promised to match donations up to $2 million.

Apparently there is a fund set up and looked after by the embassy so it does seem legitimate the guy nominated to go the embassy said he will check things out and if it seems dodgy will donate the cash another way |

My trust of the nepal embassy would probably be a few steps down from the thai ones. Too much skimming.

Wondered why the mrs was late home from work today, there was a Sek Loso and friends concert being held at Pattanakarn/Klong Tan in Bkk.
Its live on telly right now on 24/7 channel.

I've been looking at flights to Nepal in December - I think I'll go for a few days - I think they'll be needing tourist dollars.
