Aliens CREATED GOD… and now they want him back - shock claim of how religion began RELIGIONS on Earth were created by aliens who visited Earth thousands of years ago, it has shockingly been claimed. A new conspiracy theory says, before religious texts like the Bible were written, alien lifeforms visited Earth and were seen as "gods" by the more primitive humans. In an article entitled "Aliens Are Coming Back To Retrieve 'Their' Religion," the website ufointernationalproject.com tried to explain the theory. It claims either aliens created the religious texts for the benefit of mankind, or they were written by humans based on the "alien gods" who visited at that time. It went onto say much more advanced extraterrestrial species were angry that humans had used religions as a reason for waging countless wars across the globe over hundreds of years. The article said: "Religion was not designed for terrorism "The aliens quite knew that man is so destructive in nature, that’s the more reason why Religion was bestowed to us, to serve with faith and fear of the unknown, but man has completely failed the experiment." It went on to list a series of wars carried out in the name of religion, including the bitter conflicts in the Middle East against Islamic State. The unnamed author of the piece said: "I have studied all religions for over 20 years, and it has led me to nothing more than one vast conclusion. "Man was not smart enough to write any of the religions, and I mean the eastern spiritualism (the self), western religions (God – which I always have referred to as the extraterrestrial) or American Creationism (Nature itself, including man). www.express.co.uk/news/weird/785536/Aliens-CREATED-GOD-conspiracy-theory-religion

To think there are people out there who actually believe stupid stories like this. No more silly than believing in an all seeing man in the sky with a flowing white beard who sent his son to earth and was born to a virgin, walked on water, raised the dead but had the really usefull skill of turning water into wine In fact, given there has to be intelligent alien life in the universe, the premise that "god" is a alien in a lot of respects is more plausible that the man in the sky So the only thing that would need to be proved is that the intelligent alien life has visited planet earth at some point in the past

..............."In fact, given there has to be intelligent alien life in the universe".................. Did you mean "has" to be, as in it has already been proven ? I must have been ofline and missed that ! There are many of us who don't believe in God, or aliens. I believe in nothing of what I hear and half of what I see, and so far nobody has produced a God or an alien and put in front of me.

To paraphase Carl Sagan, it is very arrogant for mankind to believe they are alone in the Universe Does other intelligent life exist in the universe other than humankind ? Yes, this is certain have these life forms ever visited earth ?....now is the question that needs to be answered

WhoTF is Carl Sagan and how or why is it certain there are aliens out there ? People make me laugh, they will shitcan God botherers for believing in Him, then try to tell you there is intelligent life out there, with no evidence whatsoever.

“The argument goes something like this: ‘I refuse to prove that I exist,’ says God, ‘for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.’ “ ‘But,’ says Man, ‘the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn’t it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don’t. QED.’ “ ‘Oh dear,’ says God, ‘I hadn’t thought of that,’ and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic. “ ‘Oh, that was easy,’ says Man, and for an encore goes on to prove that black is white and gets himself killed on the next zebra crossing.”

^^ OK, I looked at the link. Does not convince me there are aliens out there. Lots of equally qualified people would not believe in them either.

I didnt post the link to convince you about aliens, just to show you Carl Sagan wasnt some crackpot but a highly respected scientist, he also wrote a book called "Contact" later turned into a movie starring Jodie Foster, the book itself is very thought provoking

Physicist Brian Cox has weighed in one of astronomy's most curious questions: Given the high probability of extraterrestrial life existing in the endlessly massive universe, why haven't we seen any clear evidence of it?
This question was first put forward by Italian physicist Enrico Fermi in the 1950s, in what’s now known as the Fermi paradox. He argued there's a contradiction between the high probability of alien life existing and the total lack of hard evidence that intelligent life has ever evolved outside of Earth.
“Where is everybody?” he famously asked.
Well, Professor Cox thinks he might have the answer. But it isn’t too cheery.
According to the Sunday Times, Cox said: “One solution to the Fermi paradox is that it is not possible to run a world that has the power to destroy itself and that needs global collaborative solutions to prevent that.”
Yup, essentially there's a chance aliens wipe themselves out via political turmoil before they ever become advanced enough to launch an interstellar exploration.
He went on to warn: “It may be that the growth of science and engineering inevitably outstrips the development of political expertise, leading to disaster. We could be approaching that position.”
