Brit backpacker found seriously injured by rail tracks days after posting selfie hanging out moving train Daniel Clark, 20, was found with blood pouring from his face two days after he shared a selfie to Facebook, with the caption: "Living it large in Asia!! F***ing loving it!" A young Brit was found seriously injured by rail tracks two days after posting a selfie showing him hanging from the window of a moving train. Daniel Clark, 20, is fighting for his life in hospital after he was found unconscious by the tracks with blood pouring from his face. He shared the selfie to Facebook on Thursday, with the caption: "Living it large in Asia!! F***ing loving it!" It's believed Daniel then caught a train alone yesterday evening as he travelled from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat in southern Thailand. But after travelling overnight in the stuffy train, he is believed to have fallen from the carriage - which has open air doors with no shutting mechanism. www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/brit-backpacker-found-seriously-injured-10138444

Before I read your second comment I was thinking to myself the twats over at TVF will be all this like a cheap suit, blaming Thailand for what happened.

Stayed at the same guesthouse in Nha Trang three of the four times I visited, last time I was there, there were four young English lads staying on the same floor but at the back. They were playing up a bit and I offered them some advice, have as much fun as you can without ruining it for others. They were not disturbing me although I could hear them going off late at night. Next morning they were lined up downstairs in the foyer and the cops were there. Apparently they had thrown all these big clay plant pots off the third floor balcony the night before and had to pay for the damage before they got their passports back. Silly buggers were lucky they didn't kill someone.

Is it feasible to climb on to the roof of these trains and enjoy the scenery on the roof without tunnel rash and pole whip?
I'd love a journey on a train roof, basking in the sun with some beers

* Note to self - Don't sit next to CHL on the train, either.

Their long faces said it all, I think they regretted their actions and hopefully learned a lesson. Not to drop bloody big pot plants off a third floor balcony. That was the same hotel where I was talking to the lady who run the place one day at the reception desk and she was saying it was a bit quiet for that time of year, only had about 70% occupancy rate. While I was standing there talking to her a group of young backpackers showed up, Lonely Planets in hand, looking for rooms. Lady said sorry, we are full. When they left I asked her why she turned them away when she had just told me they had plenty of spare rooms. Israelis, she said. Not worth the trouble, haggle with you over the room rates, get drunk every night and annoy all the other guests and trash the rooms. Classic Asian racism, or a sound business decision ? If they are not worth the trouble why have them there ? I receive emails from people all the time making inquiries about products on my website. Sometimes you just know they are scammers, not worth the trouble even replying to them.

I could go through several racial groups that I deal with in my business and they each follow a cultural trend. And it is a cultural trend, just as much as queue'ing up in the UK is cultural.

I think beer is banned on trains these days If it is it's because bloody loonies have been drinking it on the roof ! A drunk rail employee raped a girl on a train. So they banned passengers from drinking.

Yah bah and alcohol plus a thing with no moral compass. Same as the death of Cartoon on Lasalle, tragic, beyond understanding. The perpetraitors were quickly caught and locked up. Unlike a certain coke sniffing drunk no moral compass bastard with a black Ferrari.

Door had no closing mechanism? Sounds like 3rd class. Hardly living it high.
