I tried to post myself from Brisbane to London years ago. It would have worked out less than half price if Australia Post allowed it.

Have you seen how hard they stamp that long heavy postmark thing on the top and bottom of the packages. May be a good thing they would not let you. And the way they throw those postbags....and how often things end up in the dead letter office. |

Interesting the Ozzie site posted that news on the 1st of April. Still it's a true story. I admit ... to having read the original article in Dutch on the 23rd of March and having been too lazy to translate it for all those members here who would be (and actually are) thrilled to read such news. Reading the article on the Ozzie site I'm wondering a bit though as it mentions an offer of free tickets to the Ozzie Sydney, but I also see a "gofundme" page. Someone (he didn't hear it from me) may have told this guy that the people in Sydney, Australia, are professional asswipes so he headed off to Sydney, Nova Scotia instead, because they are a nice friendly lot there. Once again, he didn't hear it from me.  |
