At this time of year I would like to wish all our members safe travels, some have even been known to flee the country for safer shores.
No need for such drastic action.

Doubt if I will sleep tonight, 1 point for a sighting, 3 points for actual water contact.
Bear in mind, this doesnt refer to the Thais in your locale celebrating traditional new year, but to pikey backpacker scum.

Staying in the Dusit area, Bangkok I doubt I'll see even a single pikey. Mind you, some get lost easily. No doubt, knowing the people and kids here, the lost will get an appropriate welcome  Tomorrow that is, all very peaceful now. |

I had a meeting at 5.30 in the old city (CNX)
Twatpackers a plenty roaming around with water guns, and still throwing after dark. As driving didn't get a chance of a photo.
All relatively peaceful here in Mae Hia though :-)

I've got the bell end of bell ends. True Vision CH 24. Chonburi, they are putting used engine oil in plastic bags and throwing at traffic, and passers by.

Thai guy scooted Son of Blether in the face yesterday with a power washer. Son of Blether was cyclino down Doi Suthep at speed when it happened. Knocked his sunglasses off, breaking them, near blinded him, and caused him to swerve in front of a car that just missed him.
Son of Blether took one of his psycho rages. Luckily the police witnessed what happened and intervened backing him up.

Back in the day, at the chalkface, we had April Fools Day.
It lasted until lunch time.
The children knew that the teachers were fully prepared, thus they had to be ingenious to play a prank.Likewise the teachers had their own plans to dupe the children.
In my experience, no one was hurt, wounded pride maybe, but it was fun. The essence was fun.
