Straight up no rubbing it with salt? Awesome. www.gaganisbros.com.au/go/our-products/nostiminiI use that product only. It's ingredients they keep a secret , but I'd guess its mainly paprika , dried garlic kind of mix. Delicious on anything bbq. I also on any bbq always get a big bowl , squeeze fresh lemon in it(1whole lemon) , then rest the meat covered under alfoil for about 10 minutes. Give the meat a good turning through the lemon juice. There's something about the acid in the lemon , plus the lemon flavour makes the meat delicious and much more tender.

Damn hipster has a cult bbq following. Do you ride those buses too mate? Check this out. This butcher I go to owns his own farm. Pork belly and lamb. It takes me an hour to go see him and get home but worth the drive. He only sells female pork which tastes better than male pork. Male pork has that real pig taste to it that turns people off eating it. The stuff he sells is the best. Look at the colour of the meat. Not bright red like the supermarket stuff.

Good thread hip, I put five kilos on just reading it.
Pork looks good, as do the spuds. I found half cooking the spuds in a steamer then coating them with butter and crushed garlic (or garlic juice) gives them a nice crispy finish and flavour. Also if you roast a chicken same deal, crispy skin.

The butcher puts a garlic type rub on the trays for us then vacuum seals the trays. I still use the lemon in the bowl trick after though.

Gentlemen please desist from posting comments and images concerning gastronomic delights.
I have just received from a paparazzi contact a brief clip of the impacts the posting of non kosher foods in large quantities has had on a number of the BBQ's circle of friends in the Rabbi Bernsteins poetry circle.

Lamb chops marinade for BBQ :
1) Place lamb chops in a large bowl . 2) Add thyme ,rosemary and black pepper , fresh or dried. 3) Pour in soda water to cover and leave for an hour or so. 4) Place on BBQ , add salt to taste and cook as preferred .
This gives you juicy and tender lamb chops .
I know this is a pork thread , might work with pork chops too.
