Interpol issues red notice for Scottish teacher wanted for Myanmar murder Interpol has issued a red notice for a Scottish teacher wanted by police over the suspected murder of a colleague in Myanmar. Harris Binotti, 26, fled the south-east Asian country in November last year, hours before Gary Ferguson was found dead. Binotti, from Dumfries, has been at the centre of an international manhunt since Ferguson was found with fatal head and chest wounds five months ago. The Interpol notice, which gives the teacher’s full name as Harris John Italo Binotti, says he is wanted on a charge of murder. It describes him as having brown hair and blue eyes and measuring about 1.68 metres (5ft 5in). Red notices are issued to international police forces when the suspect is wanted for prosecution or to serve a sentence based on an arrest warrant or court decision. Ferguson and Binotti are believed to have gone out drinking two nights before neighbours reported hearing sounds of a fight and the victim’s body was discovered. Both men taught English at the Horizon International school in Yangon. www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/14/interpol-issues-red-notice-for-scottish-teacher-harris-binotti-wanted-for-myanmar

Amazing it has taken so long. Probably hiding out in Pattaya or Cambo If he had any sense, he would be in Europe /UK by now, enter EU in a country with the "least" immigration hassles, then travel over land back into the UK and hide in "plain sight" and will get away with it unless someone grasses him up, but will never be able to travel internationally again or get a passport, of course he could try the deed poll route and might just get away with it

This nutjob needs catching and locking up for the good of everyone else.

There I was munching away on my rather dry black pudding and eggs this morning reading the free copy of the Times and what do I see? This muppet all over page three with an article suggesting he is working at a call centre in Glasgow under an assumed name. Police declined to comment apparently.

'Twould appear the that Glasgow and its police force are not so different from Bangkok really, boiler rooms here runaway shelter hostels there.
