From when the World was smaller and things more easy. "Joan Blaeu’s unique map of the world exhibition Joan Blaeu: Master Cartographer of the Dutch Golden Age One of the absolute highlights of The National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam is Joan Blaeu's map of the world, dating from 1648. Its size is impressive – over 2 by 3 metres – and at the time it displayed the most up-to-date knowledge of the world we live in. This version of the map, with Blaeu's writing and a new depiction of China, is absolutely unique." www.hetscheepvaartmuseum.nl/about-the-museum/press/map-joan-blaeu

You might have given us a link that shows a picture of the map, and not some boring gibberish text. There's only one interesting Dutch expression, and that's papegaai eieren.

OK Doggie, give it to me straight, no bs now, does your world have maps ! Of course it does, and they're all flat, just like the earth. None of those bizarre "projections" that make countries and continents larger or smaller according to the cartographer's political persuasion. And they're perfectly honest, labelling little known regions such as the Middle East with "here be monsters".

Sorry, my mistake, I meant to write - "does your world have maps"..................and I have to tell you, the world is not flat. I discovered this phenomenon the first time I went to sea and steamed out of sight of land and noticed the arc of the horizon. Unless of course that particular section of the Pacific Ocean was actually a really big, wide, low hill.
