North Koreans can choose between 15 approved haircut styles - yet none are like Kim Jong-un's North Koreans have just 15 options when they get their hair cut, it was claimed. Men and women have been given an illustrated guide of "approved" hairstyles deemed acceptable in the secretive state. Yet none are like the barnet fashioned by Kim Jong-un - the country's supreme leader. For men the limited options are varying short back and sides with a mix of lengths on top. He is undoubtedly exceptional in so many ways, so of course nobody should ape his name or coiffure. |

Off to Bang Kapi junction tomorrow to get myself a dear deluded one haircut, bargain at 80 baht. Everyday stuff like getting a haircut in "advanced countries" can be crazy expensive. It's getting to the stage with airfares getting cheaper (I am paying a lot less now than I was back in 2004 to fly to Asia) that when the Immigration Official at Swampy asks me what is my reason for coming to Thailand I tell him I need a bit off the sides and a trim up top.  |
