Was with a pal, an aussie, he enjoys conversing with me.
I like him, which admits him to be a part of the neighbourhood.
Not a fully fledged member, but one acceptable.
Those around me know my look.
He's ok, i don't mind speaking to him.
Then a friend arrived, pal made a mistake. Now if you know Thai culture, do you? He spoke before i did.
This is so hard to define.
However, he got away with it as i did not say anything.
Then i told him.
He was confused, baffled.
It passed and he never understood.
That was until later, and same person arrived.
Between times three youths had joined us, well not joined us, but sat near me.
I have known them since they were knee high to a grasshopper.
The father was who arrived.
I asked pal, do you know who is his son?
Blank look.
Then i did indulge in a little Thai and son responded to me.
No, it was not meant as demeaning, it was just as it is.
The three youths are friends of my son.
They had asked where he was, in Thai and i had replied.
Then they carried on with their computer game.
I knew all around me.
Is that? Oh i ask?

OK some help.
He spoke to some kids, not at all in a bad way, but it was strange to me. The kids speak to me, i do not initiate a conversation.
As i have known them before they were born, no need to open any channels of conversation. I sometimes mutter "The pests are here," And they all vie for the accolade of pest number one. Now work that out.
And Boy, Euro and Non were sitting at the same table. We never exchanged a word, but they did wai me , i noticed , i don't think pal did.
I like that.

Hai, hai I know it. He was just being friendly no harm in that but he made you lose faces. You are too I don't know the word, my English is very poor...cynical. You don't want them to come to you but they do. Because you are like a big rock to them. They all love you jokyu. They are all vieing for your attention but you brush them off willy nilly hai not good man. Embrace them.
