I think I've said before, I find the Aircraft Crash Investigations programmes interesting. Not from any morbid sense, but the technical side. I've just seen one that is quite chilling, and fortunately it was a Cargo Flight. 1999 just before Christmas a Korean Air Cargo flight 8509 left Stansted. Minutes later it was on the ground in the trees. The Captain's instrument showing the aircraft's attitude wasn't working. He was old school ex military. The 1st officer's instrument worked, but he knew his place. As the captain increased the bank angle, the 1st officer said nothing. A similar incident in Guam was a passenger flight. Korean social culture was in the spotlight, and thankfully since 1999 they haven't lost an airframe.
