Pope likens migrant holding centres to 'concentration camps' Pope Francis urged governments on Saturday to get migrants and refugees out of holding centres, saying many had become "concentration camps". During a visit to a Rome basilica, where he met migrants, Francis told of his visit to a camp on the Greek island of Lesbos last year. There he met a Muslim refugee from the Middle East who told him how "terrorists came to our country". Islamists had slit the throat of the man's Christian wife because she refused to throw her crucifix the ground. I don't know if he managed to leave that concentration camp, because refugee camps, many of them, are of concentration (type) because of the great number of people left there inside them," the pope said. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/22/pope-likens-migrant-holding-centres-concentration-camps/

Well your holyness
Unlike the concentration camps your referring to, said migrants have a choice, they can always go home
Hows about you opening that wallet of yours that is the vatican bank, buying some land somewhere and opening up camps for them and food, clothe and look after them ?
Thought not
Oh and why are the Jews up in arm and howling about this remark ?

Copy of my comment on R T concerning the head of the worlds biggest paedophile ring comments.
What can one expect from a Pope creature who is averse to and thus abhors vagina's but talks like one.

Any comments forthcoming yet from Islams sternest critic here on the board concerning a good Christian boy, the Pope and its comments?

Refugee camps are places where people only get more angry by feeling powerless to do something to improve their lives. In principle people might leave but that's only in principle. Wandering out to die is no civilised choice. Plus like in 1900 people are kept in refugee camp for their own well being, ask the South Africans how nice the British provided camps were.
Anyway, a camp is at the end, it means something went wrong. The thing to do is prevent things from going wrong. Furthermore, if some countries are left alone it's easier to let them without the need to show moral superiority.
We all tend to be somewhat hypocritical in this I'm afraid.
