Have a few Filipino staff at work who will be out this morning, hope Manny wins otherwise they're going to very miserable.

Well....should be a international panel of judges on World title fights.....over 100 people where I was at and the boos for the decision were resounding.....

I listened to it on the BBC radio....they called it 8-4 for Mayweather....mainly cos Manny didn't pack enough of his punches on target I think. No one likes to see a boring defensive boxer win though. |

No one likes to see a boring defensive boxer win though. Mayweather is hated - I don't want to call him the best in history - I'm biased towards Ali and the Hearns/Hagler/Robinson/Duran generation. Four geniuses. Mayweather is the best defensive fighter I've ever seen - he's the AC Milan, or the George Graham Arsenal of boxing. All he has to do is win 1-0 - and tonight he did far more than that. Anyway - you better watch in case you get called a troll - that's three judges, Jim Watt, Carl Froch, the two Sky commentators and the BBC all calling it a crashing victory for Mayweather. They must all be biased. |
