So, who's next? Should we organise a poll? Maybe just somehow new Tory PM versus General Elections? Seems Shetlands cut off and with limited phone, Internet. Our Scottish member might not be able to vote.

£20-30k I believe....plus some get apartments and cars oh and security services etc.... My question was badly phrased I think. I was more wondering how a cabinet position would effect future benefits like pensions and possible other perks. Also how such benefits would match up with time served in such exalted position. Just in, on theGuardian that is. Mind you details are lacking a bit. The 'up to' sounds like 'under certain circumstances which not defined here' "Liz Truss’s entitlement to ex-PMs’ £115,000 annual grant sparks anger Unions call for outgoing PM to forgo allowance amid cost of living crisis and cuts to public services Johnson, Sunak and Mordaunt get early backing in Tory leadership race – live Anger has been sparked at rules that mean Liz Truss will be entitled to an annual office allowance of up to £115,000 after serving as prime minister for a matter of weeks. Amid calls for her to forgo the allowance, a trade union representing civil servants hit out at her entitlement to the perk amid a mounting squeeze on public services and the cost of living crisis." www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/oct/21/liz-truss-entitlement-ex-prime-ministers-yearly-grant-sparks-fury

^^^ Contributory final salary pension - so unlike the vast majority of the working British people whose pension will depend upon the vagaries of the markets, and is not guaranteed.
It really is "one rule for them, another rule for the rest of us".

Embarrassing time to be a Brit. Boris who surely can't be as daft as he looks and acts. The same for Rees-Mogg, Minister for the Nineteenth Century.
But we're not the only ones, Biden and Trump FFS.
They make the West Belfast Rolf Harris Lookalike Champion (Unopposed) look statesmanlike.

^^^ Contrast that with Truss' being selected by the votes of 81,326 Tory party members, mostly geriatric and white, living in the South of England, whose knowledge of current affairs is taken from the Torygraph or the Daily Mail. Also hilarious.

Also hilarious. At this rate Sunak will hand the keys to No10 to Emperor Rees-Mogg on Xmas Eve before being stabbed to death by Gove.
