When I finished work, I came out here for 6 months to make sure me and mine could live together. After about 3 months the is this your wife questions started. I answered what I thought was the correct answer, not yet. After about 6 weeks I learned it was the wrong answer when she blew her top. So after she'd calmed down, I said do you want to go to the Amphur's office then.

If you get married in Thailand I want to come ! I love Thai weddings, have been to four of them so far (two were mine) and they are a hoot ! Best one I went to was in Korat about 10 years ago, mate of mine from Australia married a stunner from there, 1,500 people came, had a ball, live band and professional dancing girls etc.  |

If you get married in Thailand I want to come ! I love Thai weddings, have been to four of them so far (two were mine) and they are a hoot ! Best one I went to was in Korat about 10 years ago, mate of mine from Australia married a stunner from there, 1,500 people came, had a ball, live band and professional dancing girls etc. Is he still married ? |

Yes, spoke to them both last time I went over for a visit couple of months ago, they are going well. Spend more time over there than they do in Thailand these days, have a couple of businesses going over there.

I laid down two conditions - 1. She has to pass her Chartered Accountant finals. 2. Her Dad has to walk her down the aisle. With her being born Muslim, there's not a chance of that happening. So I'm off the hook  |

So I'm off the hook Careful.....a sharp pair of scissors may be enough to get you to convert. And remember....if it goes tits up she has the accounting skills to find all your assets. |

Her cunning plan is to decamp to Mexico with me next year and get married on the quiet. To be fair to her, she's one of the few women that have even crossed my marriage radar since I divorced. I'm amenable to spending a few months with her in Mexico and seeing where it goes. |
