Did you know that not only your fridge is telling on you. Your intelligent hover will do the same "INTIMATE PHOTOS BY ROOMBA VACUUMS LEAKED ONLINE THIS IS BEYOND THE PALE. As the MIT Technology Review reports, the aptly-named company iRobot, behind the uber-popular Roomba vacuums, confirmed that gig workers outside of the US broke a non-disclosure agreement when sharing intimate photos, including one of a woman on the toilet, to social media." futurism.com/the-byte/roomba-photos-leaked

Just to let everyone know that I am not slacking, Smokie is talking about kilometers and not kilograms. 1 kilogram a week is for pussies.

Not a chance, I don’t have enough patience. 3 to 4 months growing time or same day delivery from Line. No contest really.
Many years ago, I used to brew my own beer & wines. Hardly any batches made it passed the cloudy stage. I believe that may have contributed to the brain damage that I am currently enjoying.

Did you know ... ... the latest in denouncing anything and all some don't like is talking about 'getting out of the Matrix' and 'Matrix police' and so on. Seems to have come from the 1999 Hollywood movie 'The Matrix" and seems to be used to 'proof' the "Deep State" idea. Somehow that suggest (to me) some people rather believe Hollywood fantasies over the real world around them. "" The Matrix is a 1999 science fiction action film[5][6] written and directed by the Wachowskis. It is the first installment in the Matrix film series, starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, and Joe Pantoliano, and depicts a dystopian future in which humanity is unknowingly trapped inside the Matrix, a simulated reality that intelligent machines have created to distract humans while using their bodies as an energy source.[7] When computer programmer Thomas Anderson, under the hacker alias "Neo", uncovers the truth, he joins a rebellion against the machines along with other people who have been freed from the Matrix. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Matrix

My first "PC", circa 1968, Univac 418: If you had one at home now you wouldn't need a heater. The boot sequence to start the damned thing up involved setting all the registers, I/O channels and loading the boot addresses into memory, it was a 73 step process of button pushing, the site record for which was 47 seconds and looked really impressive when done quickly. Whenever the boss would bring visitors by, he'd always tell us to shut it down and boot it up again, Japanese visitors even applauded once!

I only really started in 1981 at the Computer Division of Philips Electronics. There were still a few P-800s and colleagues who could set the bootstrap from memory. 16-bit address, 16-bit value, set, next. Plus the flicker of the address and data lights. The server also had real core memory. I only ever booting from pico cassettes or 8" floppy disks and later 2.5Mb removable harddisks. Those were the days.
