I have it on good authority that Bangkoks grumpiest landlord has opened a new bar in On Nut.
Wishing Brian lots of success in his new venture and will be popping in on the 22nd after a day at Mahidol University

On Nut soi 16 beside the Bangkok Bank.
Would have loved to pop in, but will be in Pattaya, enjoy.
Hope he makes a success of it, a few have tried.
Some Yank opened up a place beside Big C dont know if he is still there, be aware, charging lower Suk prices isnt going to cut it in that part of town.

Not mentioned, thats an up and coming Thai area, check out some of the house prices, they aint living in some scuzzy 3,000 baht a month condo with no air, trying to eke out a living selling dodgy dvds and muay thai shorts on e-bay. FFS, if you want a burger, use the place round the corner, I go there to drink, not to eat, great little muslim rotti joint round the corner, serves excellent
ไก่ย่างหาดใหญ่, southern grilled chicken.
Bunny snooker club just up the road has some very nice takeaway.

There is a better drinking hole nearby too....as you well know and I won't utter it here. I used to like the Nth Korean joint up the road on soi 20. I have probably been profiled and am on some cia secret file. Just hope eee gaew doesnt fall asleep on sentry duty tonight, might find myself being visited tonight by chuck norris and delta force seal team 6 and on a one way flight to guantanamo. |
