Paul - you know him. It's going to be carnage, complete carnage. He's a top geezer....when is he arriving? December 21 - he's in country for twenty-two days - mainly cos I'm the boss and I told my directors to give him extra time off. He'll be in BKK in January so I'll make sure you get to see him. @rgs - I'll be in Patts at that time too - tbh I'm dreading it, this guy is one of the Glasgow Party Squad - three weeks of severe alcohol abuse coming up. Gawd.

Yup, just back, and will be there again in a couple of weeks.
I go there to, meet friends, play golf, eat farang food, drink farang beer and listen to live music, guess that makes me a boring twat.
The give it a bodyswerve remark was about party central types, been there done that.
Apart from the above, I prefer Bang Saen, GREAT little town.

Bang Saen, it's before you get to Pattaya and well worth a look too.
Great place, very Thai family outing orientated, good food selection accommodation to suit all pockets sort of Thai Southend on Sea or Clacton on Sea places.

Bang Saen, great place for a day out with the extended family. Short drive from Bangkok and plenty of good food. Downside is the sea can be very polluted. Last time all the kids had rashes from something . The refineries and factories of Laem Chabang . Ships dumping stuff at sea. Ko Si CHang , close by also a good day trip. Same sea though, big big , sea, lots of water and it is an island. That's why it has so much water, lots of water all round it. On a fine day the short ferry trip , over the big water, is a true pleasure, especially returning at sun down.

Anyone who has done the West Indies would understand.

I would go cheaper, but that is just me.
One of those shacks near the sea perhaps. But no need to stay there, a day out place.
Pattaya , thousand my top price, but i always stay at the same place and they know that.

Hopefully this entertainment ban doesn't get too much. Already been told no music in the village for the month. Bit rough.
Looks like I won't be able to blast buhis classical thread what a shame.

No music in the village sounds like a blessing.
