I was in fact in the dark about the entire trip and will once again remind the muppets here as to the lack of wisdom that decision proved to be.  ....my blood pressure rose a considerable number of times as the tale was told. |

I note the £900 I spent on my biz class ticket LHR-BKK for this week is now being charged for an economy ticket with the same airline.

I refused to fly business class as soon as they banned in-flight flaming Sambucas.
Nowadays its much better to fly cattle class and snort Glade shake'n'vac in the hong naam.

I used to fly business class with China Airlines every time that I went from BKK to Hong Kong.
However, soon after I discovered where they hid the whiskey in their Swampy lounge, they stopped servicing the route.
Coincidence?

I though the days of first, business and economy class were long gone.
Replaced by about a dozen different levels.

No its quite simple....economy has been replaced by even shittier economy and those who can escape go to premium economy which is like economy used to be but 200 quid more expensive. I flew JAL Platinum Premium with Golden Wings Class from Tokyo to Sydney a while back. Had the entire top floor of a 747 to myself.
Arrived in Sydney 2 seconds before the others.

I enjoy doing a big fart while passing through business class to economy. Maybe it is jealousy, but I still enjoy it.

It might all be a bit different now with flatbeds and the like for an extra 20 grand. Only flown business a couple of times and got an extra pillow.

Long haul business class, i really hate flying cattle
Anything under 5 hours cattle is ok. Worth getting FF cards for lounge access though.
Next flight long haul is Biz to London
