I note that those who fly regular business class fly single.
Would they still fly business with kids and the wife?
My father has to fly business class. Being a size 5xl he has no choice because he can't fit comfortably in economy size seats.

Haven't flown for a while, but when paying for the flight myself I refuse to pay more than absolutely necessary, although I liked EVA Air extended economy. Maybe I'm just a thrifty Dutch. Free drink doesn't appeal as I'd have to drink more than is good for me to make it worthwhile (even if they'd serve whiskey ) Mind you, I have no problems sleeping anywhere, helps pass the time.

Would seem he asked the wrong person

No doubt,...it’s business or first class, with or without the girlfriend. Even short-hauls.
It was once fun to travel the SE Asia (from the states) in the cattle car and sneak to the back after the doors (to the aircraft) were closed and share an entire empty row (of 5 seats) with a nice Asian girl with her head on your lap for half the flight. But those days are gone with almost every flight fully booked now-a-days.

To answer your question, yes.

Route 1, full of pised up ozzy bogans thinking they could crack Merv the swerves record for drinking beer. Route 2, about 30% full, get crashed out on 4 seats in the middle row, arive in Bkk, fresh as a daisy. PS, I have boarded route 1 from Bkk to Ozzy land, what a effin mess, looks like something out of a refugee camp.
