I am guessing that hangovers are caused primarily from dehydration.
I continue to drink a lot of water and rarely get a bad hangover from beer, unless I am on the spirits which I avoid.

I remember the old adage, after a session drink a pint of water before you go to bed.

Negative eh? Perhaps that's what people mean when they say I'm a miserable lookin kirnt. Easily sorted I'll double the valium and take a couple of prozac when I go out. Onwards and upwards. Positive thinking, that's all it takes.

thats 2 bottles a day six days a week, with a day off to observe the sabbath. That seems the wrong way around. |

I'm actually sober. How do people do this every day? Waking up after you have passed out is not necessarily the same as sober. Is it raining where you are too? What a nice sound, makes a pleasant change. Haven't noticed it being any cooler yet but can't rush things. |

On this topic, Panorama (BBC for foreigners) last night was campaigning for the alcohol industry to do more to educate the public about safe drinking limits.
A lady who has severely damaged her liver through too much drink blames the industry for not informing her about the dangers.
Obviously she was not to know that doing a box (quantity unstated) of wine in every night before starting on the vodka could cause problems.
Not her fault at all.

Reminds me of student days and cheese and wine parties....all very namby pamby until the professor left then we'd tan the cases quick and smash open the cartons to drain the dregs before heading to the Tally Ho bar to cash cheques and get smashed on Scrumpy Jack cider.

I blame comprehensive education, bring back grammar schools, the lower orders cannot compute. Half the girls in my class had checked out by the time they were 14 or 15, up the duff already, dreaming of some Thai man coming over to buy them a house and land, pay a massive dowry and give them an income every month. |
