Totally unrelated to your post but important consumer advice, nonetheless. This morning, on the way to work, I had need to visit a local 7-11. Recently I have been boycotting on 7-11 stores, after learning that they refused to stock Jamesons 0.0 but I needed some mints to mask the small of my marijuana breath. Unfortunately I could not find any polo mints, so I ended up getting a ‘packet’ of Halls XS Mentholyptus.
Anyhow, when I got to the counter the serving boy started ringing up my order and then he asked me “member?’. With rapier speed (but not wit) I replied “I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member”. The boy looked at me deadpan, while handing my change back, not a smile of smirk in sight.
I guess that Thais just don’t understand Groucho Marx.
I guess holding in your stomach and looking into your trousers followed by a smile and a "yes" wouldn't be rewarded with applause either That's pretty good rubl, considering you're from a country that thinks having holes in cheese is a good thing.

Surely if the foodstuff does not originate from the UK it should not be classified as 'cheese'. Do we not get 'protected status' on this?
Where are the United Nations when you need them?

Although I no longer drink alcohol, I do still have a massive hangover. However, this is my belly hanging over my member, causing a break in the line of sight.
Holding in my stomach is not suffice, a convex mirror is needed for this task.
Shut up and give me twenty tigs

You might confuse us with the Swiss who indeed like holes in their cheeses. We Dutch like to stuff holes allthough not necessarily only those in cheeses.

I doubt you're implying that UK foodstuff is only about cheese, although ...

Goodness, how you Dutch like banging on about sticking fingers in dikes. Anyway, holes are also a big feature in Dutch cheeses such as Prima Donna, Maasdam, Leerdamer. Even Gouda has little holes.

No confusion here me old clogger, the holes in Dutch cheese are the same size as Dutch mountains, not on the scale of the Alps or Swiss cheese by any stretch.

I'm willing to dispose of as many of those pesky chicken pies as you need to shift Tony....anything for my old buddy and pimp.

A decent cheese has no holes if only because Dutch are thrifty and don't want to pay for holes. PS try the Leidse (with cumin seeds) and the Friese (with cloves), none of that holey stuff.

Exactly, who would pay for holes? Hmm, I suppose golfers would, and mongers, perhaps I need to rethink this.......I think I need to lay down for a while.

"Top Beijing official admits efficacy of China’s Covid vaccines is low Head of country’s disease control centre says vaccines ‘don’t have very high protection rates’ China’s top disease control official has admitted that the efficacy of the country’s domestically produced vaccines is low as it emerged the authorities are considering mixing them to try to offer greater protection against coronavirus. The rare admission of weakness on the part of Beijing’s pandemic approach came from the director of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Gao Fu, who said Chinese vaccines “don’t have very high protection rates”." www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/11/china-considers-mixing-covid-vaccines-to-give-greater-protection
