Even if no-one in my family dies I still don't like the idea of watching anyone lie in a hospital bed with hoses hanging out knocking on deaths door for 6 weeks. I love billing by the hour....oh and VAT is such a wheeze too! |

Never had you down as one to frequent curtain motels, ha ha ha, up my way they just charge 399 baht for the day. |

Well, it's reported that Moslems are licking poles on public transport to prove their devoutness: they believe that their "god" will protect them against the virus. So I guess if being a Moslem is socially acceptable to you, then windowlicking should be too. |

Is there a difference in a lick by a Muslim and a lick by an Englishman? Have you ever licked one? How did that make you feel and how often you do it on average during a month? |

Back to 'normal' life, it would seem America has 16 confirmed cases, 27 could be's and 6 dead. Not sure if the 6 dead are included in the confirmed 16 cases. 6 out of 22 sounds better than 6 out of 16 of course.  |

Various companies in Thailand are giving out warnings to and advise for their employees. On how to act, what to do, what not to do, how to report.

Company XYZ would like to announce “Employee’s practice in COVID-19 pandemic outbreak” situation as below;
• Employee who has a plan to travel and/or transit through China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Iran, France, and Germany, must cancel until further announcement.
• From today (4 March 2020), employee who insist to travel to other countries in addition to 11 affected countries above, will be instructed to self-quarantine for 14 days from the day of arrival by using your annual leave, business leave, and leave without pay respectively. The employee must report to the respective manager and complete the Employee’s Declaration BCP Form 1 (Attached file)
• Employee who has family members living in the same residential return from aboard (any countries outside Thailand), also need to report to the respective manager and complete the Employee’s Declaration BCP Form 1 (Attach file).
