How the other half live, 5555., they dont have a clue what goes on in the suburbs. Last Sat night, it was like party central in my soi, at least 6 houses had p**s ups going on, with at least 10 people per house, the place was rocking. As the blethery one well knows, the police station is right behind my house, they never put in an apperance. Thai truth from a bang kapi dweller, and its something i see on a nightly basis. |

More like state of denial, followed by state of death. Thailand must open up quick....since there is almost zero economic relief for its citizens.  , girl across the soi from me was in the house last night, she has just got a 60k baht per month job, invited to a p**s up on Sat night, never mind Litten Lek can go back to the farm and put a shift in, if thats nots beneath her these days. |

Just read that the Consular Section of the Netherlands Embassy will re-open for limited services from 2nd of June onwards. Admission after appointment only, appointment to be made via email request. More on their facebook site and wensite.
As no doubt many other Embassies will also have:
"arriving at the gate your temperature is measured. If 37.5C or higher you will not get admission and will be asked to make a new appointment. The public waiting room has been adapted and there are facilities to disinfect your hands. From arriving at the gate till leaving again you're required to wear a face mask"

The other week there were 16 Thais in my house for the wifes birthday, total cost to me, well I dont know, I gave the mrs 5k baht, she went and bought, booze, enough food to feed an army, ice cream etc for the kids. In my jar in the cabinet, there is at least one yellow note, and some red ones, havent yet checked. FFS, 16 people fed and watered for less than a night out in soi cowboy. I have also notice, carports being turned into amazing beer gardens, got to love Thai ingenuity and the pursuit of sanook |

The latest news has Thailand dropping the nightly curfew starting the 15th of June, Monday night. Of course, some business still (very) restricted or completely closed for now. Also still the strict controls under the emergency decree regarding people coming from outside Thailand. As for some localities closed, maybe this article gives people some ideas.
