. Earn double time plus get time off in lieu for mostly sitting around reading newspapers' and going down the pub, or, earning nothing and sitting in a bedsit in Finchley...a difficult choice, not. Or like me, work Christmas boxing day and gov holiday extra double shifts and the New year weekend all doubles plus every night for the fortnight, MY PAYCHECK WHEN I got it it was a third of what I normally got. Mr Taxman had taken his cut. Nice Christmas and the Darwin Weather Beureau that year, Guess I saved some by not going to the Darwin Hotel back bar that fortnight.

They are spoilt brat millenials, they dont have jobs, they get by on their fathers credit cards, usually found on the southern islands or pai spouting their effin blm or antifa bullshit. Not mentioned the teecha brigade that used to do border runs. I preferred the 90 day border run option to the 90 report on the visa extension. The last time I applied for 12 months extension, I was sat in Ranong immigration while the paperwork was processed for 4 hours. Everytime someone asked the person processing my application a question, she put the pen down. Multi tasking, what's that? In that 4 hours I could have driven to Surat Thani to se my wife's auntie. In November I'll take my complete LOTR book. Now as long as they already paid their 1900 Baht, they are OK until Nov 30th. www.thephuketnews.com/all-visa-extensions-in-effect-from-nov-1-77559.php

What a palava. Went to immigration this morning as instructed last month. Massive backlog at the HQ in Bangkok, and my stamp hasn't been approved yet. They'll call me when it has. So into town and do some shopping before heading home. We are sat on the bus for home, and the driver is ready to go. I get a call, and my stamp has been approved. So unload our shopping and leave it in a shop. Now back in immigration, but it's their lunchtime . But it's a massive weight off my shoulders, and we can think about Christmas now. So 2 hours, 1 each visit while the processed the stamp. All told 8 hours away from home. Ready for a beer or 3.

Typical bloody farang, whinge whinge whinge, johnny foreigner, those nice people did you a favour, imagine if you had got the call when you got home. I somehow dont think 3 beers will be enough, ha ha ha.

Apparently the council has decided my dish can't be front of house due to the listed building status of my flat...yet they can't remove the rotting mattress someone has left halfway down the street.
Now I have to get Sky back round to faff about on the roof...happy effin days.
ASQ group joined as I search for a hotel.

My tenant asked if he could install Sky TV so he can watch sports and I said yes, of course, but I had to get the approval of the management company first. Three weeks later they honored me with a response by saying a satellite dish could be installed but only on the North facing wall and specifically, not on the South or West walls. I asked them if they were technically incompetent or just plain stupid but I got no response. After much mud slinging the issue was going nowhere so I told my tenant to install fibre and to get Sky that way and I would cover the cost of the fibre......stupid people, I'm sorry I resigned as a Director.

I'm surprised, I truly am. Didn't they request the satellite dish to be in the same colour as the North wall? Surely it's would not do for it to stick out and be an eyesore there.

Following that debacle I set in motion a night of the long knives event. The AGM is overdue so shareholders were asked to supply questions/issues by email and the Board would respond the same way. I called on three other shareholders to assist and achieved the 5% of shareholders necessary to demand a vote and then we documented various proposals and put them forward. One of the proposals is that Directors cannot serve more than 5 terms (all existing Directors have already served more than eight)......job done.

Being a simple technical figure I'd have demanded the satellite in Geostationary orbit to be moved Northwards

Amateur? My dear sir, I let you know I'm a professional. In the words I saw written outside Ratchathewi BTS station this afternoon: Apologize for your inconvenience

due to the listed building status of my flat If your building is listing you should get someone in to do underpinning or somesuch. Obviously the council thinks that the extra weight of a satellite dish on one side will cause the place to collapse.

Incorrect tense, it listed previously but it is no longer listing, presumably somebody counterbalanced the building by installing a second dish on the opposite side of the building. These things are far more complex than they first appear, which is why we have the listed building register, to make sure people don't undo the good work that's already been done.
