I guess you need a well documented, medical reason to be allowed to use cannabis and hemp. That may take the fun out of it for some  "People Are Warned against Smoking Cannabis or Hemp in Public Although the Ministry of Public Health officially removed cannabis and hemp from the Category 5 narcotic drug list, effective from 9 June 2022, the use of cannabis and hemp for recreational purposes is not allowed in Thailand. The Ministry of Public Health on 13 June 2022 issued an announcement stating that smoking cannabis or hemp in public is considered a nuisance. According to the announcement, cannabis and hemp smoke or the smell may cause health hazards to other people and lead to the risk of such diseases as lung disease, asthma, and bronchitis. Offenders will face imprisonment of up to three months and/or a fine of up to 25,000 baht. Seems there a lot of confusing regarding this 'stuff'. ^^^ Another Google Translate failure. For "import" read "export" throughout. In other words, whilst marijuana is legal in Thailand, it's illegal other countries, so don't take it to them or you'll be in big trouble.

I know it's a bit crummy but 'export from Thailand' could be read as 'import abroad'. Interesting is that Facebook mostly just fails to translate (at least from Thai to English) whereas google gives it a decent try. I guess I should really start to learn to read Thai rather than try to get by with OCR (as in optical character recognition)  |

His Caledonian henchman will be somewhere about.
This is as good a place as any. Have just had to correct an English teacher (former lorry driver) using of instead of off.
It occurred to me that the "could of" and "should of" merchants never get it wrong. Funny that.

I preferred Ronnie when he was quiet. Is ie correct or should it be y.? It's this waking up early with no hangover, very confusing. Being Dutch I have no problem with 'Ronnie'. Somehow you never see it as 'Ronni' although there's 'Rudi'. Probably some ancient Saxon or Germanic language rule. BTW since we're at it, just saw in the Guardian "Why are criminal barristers in England and Wales striking" Shouldn't that be a question as to why criminal barristers are not being prosecuted? After all, we normal citizens can hardly afford to be criminal |
