The problem I see here is not the forecasts, the problem is there are people who are pushing for BOT to cut rates when only Switzerland and Japan have lower rates out of any country in the world. Who exactly is it that will benefit most from lower rates, is it business who can borrow more cheaply and reap bigger profits or is it the poor who are over indebted? The answer to that question must surely involve asking who is doing the pushing because the poor tend not to be able to!
