Cha Am - for me the best place on earth( which I can afford) but working in Phuket- a not so enjoyable place on earth Cha Am is indeed a little bit of peaceful paradise....long may it remain that way! Keep it quiet folks, I thought Ch am was my secret!
Never recommend it to farangs or they will ruin it.
Half price in the week!

Too late I fear, the farangs are there in droves now. I was down that way a few weeks ago, second set of traffic lights on entering the town, hang a right, go straight on, then at the next junction hang a right then a first left, go straight ahead. Welcome to soi Yermanee, not that I have anything against Germans, a whole soi of about 20 houses all have Germans are living there full time or as holiday homes. Whats the need to have farang flags flying on the outside of the houses? |

At home not a million miles from Buhi or Tony, answering the same bomb related questions over and over and over, with more of the same to come tomoz....
Thankfully after a few hours of it yesterday, I wrote out three standard replies which I just C+P, then send to every kant. I'd been hoping for a weekend's shagging, snaking and fishing in Chachoengsao but that may be tight now unless I pull me finger out or they catch the fecker....

I know, the herp that I used to go with was very safe but he was also fearless.
He turned up on site one day with a king cobra that he had picked up.
As much as I like snakes I would not go anywhere near it.

On the subject of my hair, rgs reminded me it was time for my bi annual trim.Took the dog for its trim as well. That costs twice as much as mine!
It is amazing, my "stylist" , washes my locks , massages them , applies lotions, then spends about the best part of an hour trimming away. Carefully snipping in a meticulous way.
Cost , 150 Baht. I pay 200 Baht!
The same attention is paid to my son's short hair.

Trip to the barber shop wouldnt go amiss either.  It's the Neandertal look.
What is a barber shop? I have a stylist!
Nearly opposite where I live there's an 'old style' barber. Serves boys and men only. Good at 'school' coiffure. Luckily I just want millimeter short all around. Can do and not too bad a result for 60 Baht. |
