It's the Neandertal look.
What is a barber shop? I have a stylist!
Nearly opposite where I live there's an 'old style' barber. Serves boys and men only. Good at 'school' coiffure. Luckily I just want millimeter short all around. Can do and not too bad a result for 60 Baht. Ah, but you not hansum man! Seriously though, I have always had longish hair. When teaching, sure it was kept smart, but just the way I have always worn my hair. If you've got it , flaunt it, if not, shave it all off; comb overs are ridiculous. The image I posted was when my hair really did need trimming. Not working, having fully retired, I just neglected it. Shortly after ,that photo, I did have a cut.

Keep it quiet folks, I thought Ch am was my secret!
Never recommend it to farangs or they will ruin it.
Half price in the week!
Too late I fear, the farangs are there in droves now. I was down that way a few weeks ago, second set of traffic lights on entering the town, hang a right, go straight on, then at the next junction hang a right then a first left, go straight ahead. Welcome to soi Yermanee, not that I have anything against Germans, a whole soi of about 20 houses all have Germans are living there full time or as holiday homes. Whats the need to have farang flags flying on the outside of the houses? How depressing.....

Ok CC, lets suppose I was coming from Mickey Ds at the petrol station on your LH side before entering Ch Am, all depends on what you consider the city limits. Never mind, what I called the second you know as the first, now we know where I refer to. Must admit was amusing to hear the Thai women talking in German, what amused me even more, the women who wanted to go back and live in Germany where their luk kreung children were. One of the reasons I prefer Chan, the farangs havent as yet discovered this peaceful haven.

Haircut and shave 80 baht, followed by a neck and shoulder massage, ear and nostril hair trimmed, eyebrows trimmed, lasts about 30 minutes, give a 20 baht tip, what a bargain, 100 baht. Last time I was in rip off Britain it cost me 20 quid (1,000 baht) at a Turkish barber. Never mind, right next door in The Mall Bang Kapi would cost about 1,500 baht at some poncy salon.

Having lost 34 kilos the last seven years I'm still big but even more hansum, my dear chap, you can believe me. Every morning looking in the mirror I say so myself as well If I get the 'image attach' to work I'll post a picture in the 'school' thread showing a real Dutch secondary 4th grade class in 1971 when I was 16 (that's numbered as in two yr kindergarten, six primary, six secondary and at 18 go to uni). In those days we didn't believe in 'trimming'

My best mate in Thailand, Ben, (German) moved upcountry to the back of nowhere, never mind a good Hamburg supporter.
