Most of Lou Reeds later albums were crap too, but the live perfomances were where he shined.
Zappa, the later live albums were all, how clever am I.
Very clever, we know, but in the words of another, "Here we are now, entertain us!".

The last Zappa toon that I liked: Nothing that he had not done before, not breaking ground. Sad to say the guy was on an ego trip and ran out of ideas, happens to most artists. Plus he was a control freak, which did not allow others to improvise, embelish or extend his ideas. Now you mentioned mark Hollis, of Talk Talk, he knew they could go no further and just quit. Colours of Spring was commercial enough to be a marker, but where to next? Well they went there, but could go no further.

Number five favourite.
Should certainly scare any natives who may be full of bad intent should they be on the desert island!!

Number six is I suppose a bit of an old fashioned L.P recorded onto a modern D.V.D so I reckon it's allowable. Besides I like both the music and the images.
Sweet memories

I try have tried to listen to Wagner , but he is too right wing, far too masculine and lacking subtlety.
Nationalism disguised in art!
