Stupid old romantic that I am! For the life of me, I could never get into the Dead or Jerry Garcia, I dont even rate him as a guitarist, always sounds as if he is picking a banjo. Not even a fan of this group, but the lyrics sum it up. "Out on the road today, I saw a DEADHEAD sticker on a Cadillac A little voice inside my head said, "Don't look back. You can never look back" Words to live by, dont look back, you can never go back.

Tend to agree ," For the life of me, I could never get into the Dead or Jerry Garcia,
I only have one Dead album in my vast collection and can't recall the last time I played it; so certainly not a "Dead Head".
"To Lay Me Down" is one of those nostalgic , sentimental tracks; takes me back to a certain time, long ago.
I don't class it as a "Dead" track, as it is from Garcia's solo effort and the only decent track on said album.
