He/she needs to go, the news threads here are the job of The Blether and it seems the awkward newcomer MrRobot.
Some idiot jumping in on the turf, sling the <c**t> out it's not his patch.
Trolling is great fun but trolling the forum with news is a different matter.

What exactly is the problem here?
I have seen news threads derailed when all types jumped in with an opinion. I would not like to see that here. Drunken louts bashing each other with abuse and vitriol. News is free, we all have access.

No me, discussion is not wrong. Flaming, abuse and trolling are. People wanting to know where you live and threatening to come around with motocy helmets based on some comment made is wrong. Seen it all before. Just stating facts.
It would have to be strictly modded.

Exactly.
Mods involved will also take the brunt as accusations fly about taking political sides, truly a Pandora's Box if you want to go there. I'm just pointing out the negatives, the pluses are good too. I'd like to participate in intelligent discussions with a few.

I'm seeing more red down the far side which is good. |
