My wife loves to remind me that she is 22 years younger than me (I am 58) One time she asked me what I would do if I woke up one morning and found that she was 22 years older than me. I said I would run like hell !

Maybe you're putting too much value on beauty and not enough on substance. The attraction is not about youth, to me anyway.
We all get old, young at heart never goes out of fashion.

^ Sorry sen, did not mean my comment to come across like that. It was meant to be tongue in cheek. I love my wife for what she is, not for what she looks like or her age.

^ Tell the truth I am flat out standing let mind running. Had spinal fusion back in March and was paralyzed from the waist down when I woke up but luckily the feelings and movement has slowly returned to my legs since. Got to stage now where I can take a couple of "baby" steps so things are looking good. When I said I would run like hell that was wishful thinking.

I consider myself lucky, very lucky. I had non-Hodgkins lymphoma in one of the vertebrae in my spine, T4, which caused the bone to break down and affect the spinal chord. Had 8 courses of chemo over a six month period and the cancer was gone after only 5 doses, so the last three were "just in case". Surgery involved two titanium rods about 8" long from T2 - T6. Had everything done free of charge under the very good Australian hospital system by simply showing my Medicare card. Anyone in Australia, regardless of the color of their skin or their religion, who had a Medicare card, would have received the same treatment, free.
