Well here's a link below cmk may find annoying or perhaps helpful in reinforcing his beliefs in his vast experience within military espionage system where he like many others knew more than the generals. Hell of an achievement for an enlisted grunt who by his own admission was ''sleeping with the enemy at the time too. And of course the link may be of help concerning his inside knowledge of the political system in the colonies as well as no doubt the earlier issue of the Galipolli campaign along with the Pearl Harbour issue too which was all due to those pesky democrats too. Here's the link below. wikispooks.com/wiki/World_War_II/Attack_on_Pearl_Harbor
Evidence supporting this view is taken from quotations and source documents from the time[10] and the release of newer materials. However, the Pearl Harbor advance-knowledge conspiracy is considered to be a fringe theory and is rejected by most mainstream historians. Sorry all of the documents have been released. Nothing left in the secret bin. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearl_Harbor_advance-knowledge_conspiracy_theory. As far as the personal attack. I was sleeping with my maid and my secretary (hardly the enemy). My secretary is now a doctor in Houston Texas. Don't know what happened to the maid. I was a not a grunt. A grunt is an infantryman. The lowest education of any man in my unit was an MA. Most had Phd's. To say that we knew more than the officers that we worked for would be a vast understatement. The officer corps for the most part were sloppy drunk nightly while the enlisted men drank in moderation, smoked pot and played bridge as I remember it. I was sitting in a bar at UTapao one night with a couple of guys who were flying the same route into Hanoi for the third day in a row. It's like three on a cigarette. They all knew what was going to happen. The first time in no SAM's the second time a few. They knew what was going to happen the third time because some brass monkey in the Pentagon was too lazy to plan a new flight route. It must have been the same way the Aussies felt as they prepared to go over the wall in Gallipoli. They knew what was going to happen. Was I smarter than Westmoreland? Yup. Was I smarter than, bomb them back to the stone age, LeMay? Yup. But that's not saying much. Who do you think ran the war in Vietnam? Some drunk hillbilly from Alabama in Long Binh? It was run by remote control by bureaucrats in the Pentagon. It was doomed from the start. Sorry about the history lesson but it's not nice to accuse a soldier of treason (sleeping with the enemy).
