I was a member of that forum for about five weeks back in the early/mid 2000s while banned from LPTT and TVF..... Until that time I'd entertained the idea of possibly teaching at some point of my life in Thailand but after reading some of the utter shyte, bile, poison on there as well as meeting a few of the membership and a bunch of local TEFLers )posing as 'real' teachers, I abandoned the notion and got a real job instead as I couldn't have gone into work every day knowing such a bunch of utter  freaks awaited me there...... |

I can't imagine taking life so seriously that you are unable to laugh at yourself from time to time. Heck, I try to do it everyday! There again, I'm sure I would be cranky if I was stuck in the same TEFL job in my late 60s,too. The thing about taking the p**s out of TEFL in Thailand- you'll never get it until you leave TEFLing in Thailand. Should have made the move to Myanmar years ago.
