^^^ I dont know about the brothel vid, but his vids are a dammed sight better than some of those Bored to death by Powerpoint presentations I have to endure.
One bellend managed to knock one out, 70, yes I shyt you not, 70 effin pages of shyt.
The locals all thank and applauded, then asked me later to compress the BS into 5 pages.
Face, face, it kills them every time, just because nothing has been said, doesnt mean it hasnt been noticed.

There's a blog that goes with this video. Pictures and words providing the full story. I only get one day off a week here on this Hinthada gig. My buddy, his girlfriend and I make the most of it. Quite the remarkable little riverside village we found. They have to relocate the village every couple years as the Ayeyarwaddy River just keeps getting wider and wider. The video starts on the Saturday night before... talking into the camera. |

Hinthada is an old city, so its not surprising that there's lots of old buildings in town. I decided to wander around and record as many as I could find. What I liked most were the old mansions. Really big homes with large grounds surrounding them. Some of them are still fairly well maintained. Like this one:  Most, however, were pretty run down.   My favorite moment of the process of shooting when was I decided to record the entrance to the old prison, the back of which faces the front of my hotel. The grounds themselves take up an entire city block, and it's still a functioning prison. I was a little worried because like embassies and banks, the authorities aren't always thrilled when you video the outside of a prison. I took my shot, and as I was pulling away, I heard CLAP CLAP CLAP!... universal language for HEY YOU! I glanced over my should and saw a couple guys running out of the entrance, gesturing for me to return. I kept going. I got to a dead end and HAD TO return to the front guard post. Oh shit. When I approached they said (It think) in Burmese, "You can't go that way, it's a dead end"... Turned out they were just trying to stop me from going the wrong direction. |
