Thank you, Smokie and Arrow. I appreciate the appreciation.
I'd think this thread should probably be in the "Video killed..." subforum somewhere. "Anything else" would seem apropos.

Right now I'm using a program called Pinnacle Studio 19.0. It's good and I'm used to it, having used various versions of it for years now.
I think Pinnacle is part of the Corel group.

This footage will be part of a longer video in the next few days, but it was such a singular experience that I felt it needed its own video and blog unto itself. No music. No editing. Just a crazy bridge. Jack and I were out exploring the countryside here near Hinthada and decided to just make the next right and ask around until we found where we wanted to go. Turned out we needed to cross a river. The only bridge across that river was remarkable. Like no other bridge I've ever seen, much less crossed.

There's a blog that goes with this video. There you can learn more of the backstory behind what we were doing. Regardless, please enjoy the epic of my 2nd Sunday in Hinthada (I leave from this place tomorrow).

About 90 minutes before the closing ceremonies here at my gig in Hinthada, I was asked to give a 7-minute speech. I was still teaching when I got the request! After some scribbled notes on the last coffee break before the closing ceremony, I was able to stumble through 4 minutes using cliches like "global village". See the blog for the full story.

I'm back out on the road again! My favorite thing to do in life is tour on a motorbike, and no place more interesting to do it than SE Asia. Here's the beginning of a short 4 day trip out of Hinthada. There's a blog that goes with it. That bridge the other day was tough... in some ways, this one was even scarier.

I got about an hour past that terrifying when I realized I's made a really stupid mistake... requiring me to return and cross that bridge a second time. Then it was on to Pyay... You can read the full story at the blog...

Are you enjoying living in provincial Myanmar or do you prefer the city. Debating asking for a transfer to Shan State seeing as I seem spend most of my off time up there- better weather and less fecking pollution compared to Mandalay, too.
