When I joined here I was told by MJP that SlipperyJimmy was the same person as SamuiJimmy on photography forums, on TV. A person to trust and a person I had personally met in the past.
When I wanted to confirm this fact, I got this response from Samuijimmy@thaivisa
This raises a question. We have learned to respect other people we have met online. This respect is based of what other people have said and how they have behaved over the years. It takes time to gain this respect, as we all know.
How do we know that the same names, which are used on bigmango, are the same people who have gained our respects on Thaivisa over the years?

It's a good point, so I will happily say I am the same as here, as was there
No one should worry anyhow, keep in the rules u ou can I think have fun.
No one though ahold take others names deliberately. We have a great group here already, and it will only get better

We have a great group here already, and it will only get better If people take others names we will ask them to change them if we find they are not in fact that other person....just to avoid any confusion. |

Actually he can't be metisdead....metisdead hasn't made one real post on his forum since he became a mod.
If he did that here he would get kicked....mods here are posters too.

I thought Jimmy was Jimmy but it turned out to be Jimmy.
Without SlippinJimmy this little forum would not be what it is today. He's a technical whizz and a <duck>ing good laugh.

Just to clear up any confusion, I am not the same Jimmy you speak of, nor is my name intended to impersonate any other personas from any other forum.
I'm the Jimmy that put the next page buttons at the bottom of threads, the view recent posts button and a few other tweaks people asked for.
Small things yes but I am here to try and improve the browsing experience of members browsing this wonderful fruity stress free and friendly forum.
