I had half a can once rubl....my brain felt like someone had put it through a meat grinder. That stuff is dangerous. In Delft there's was a pub which had many different beers on stock. I had a few Campbell Xmas ales a long time ago Its that long ago Uncle your memory cells are shot. Campbells make soup dont they. Also another expression, "never trust a Campbell"

Check your history, Rubl - you'll soon see why to this day the Campbell's still get stick for the worst episode of backstabbing betrayal in Highland history.

Uncle, my mrs is a masterchef, but even she cant get pea and ham from a chicken. These days i would rather have the soup before the electric soup. Smokes will be along shortly to translate.

The Campbell's soup I had in Mexico was way too salty, I couldn't believe it.

You refer to the Massacre of Glencoe in 1692 I assume. Still reading. Mind you I'd have thought the betrayal of William Wallace in Glasgow 1305 would also rank high in Scottish memories. Sa,e with the clan warfare, but that was more an 'amongst ourselves' type of affair I guess. Still I can recommend the Christmas ale from what I vaguely remember after hardly more than three or four bottles

Half a litre of Cheers Xtra and I fall asleep. Luckily I seldom end up with a headache though. Red Horse I don't remember having ever seen in Bangkok.

Might surprise you, but I first heard about 'tramp juice' on this forum. Good living or sheltered life, take your pick. BTW just doing some 'research' I stumbled over a page with peope telling about the cheapest way of getting drunk. One joker wrote "The cheapest way to get drunk in Switzerland is going to Italy."

Massacre some fellow clansmen no problem, but tricking the English to help, now that's immoral
