No bleth, not for ffs, it was turmoil. I gave a poetry reading in Lancaster. Those poems. An astounded silence. You could not applaud it. "I think you have made your point,". Added detail, first son was in a special facility in Lancaster, hence my living in two places at that time. It aint ffs, true. Astounded silence. Indeed.

I am, I could have made a move today but decided one more day would see me fine. I'll drive down tomorrow, taking that oil road that yourself and me mentioned. I know the road from Fang through Chiang Dao then on to CM, and it's relatively straightforward, while being a lot quieter then the CR/CM road.

Furthest I've ridden was Chumpae to Chaiyapum on my Sam lor. That's about 400kms I think and I can tell you the seat needed extra padding.

There was applause, but I said there was nothing to clap.

That's about 400kms I think and I can tell you the seat needed extra padding. 220/230 kms is the furthest I've been so far - I think I could do 100 km more but that would be it. The idea for me is to saunter and take photos. On the longer journeys I tend to speed up, which is stupid. The drive up here was wet and showery too, once I got beyond halfway, and that's not enjoyable. .......................... I was in Chaiyapum last year, and in a couple of villages in the vicinity. Interesting experience, I've mentioned the resorts springing up down that way. It's also where I caught a virus from hotel air conditioning, and that set me off on the first of three successive viruses. Not a good month in my life.

CM to CR via road #118 / #1 = 199km
CM to CR via Fang - roads #107 / #109 / #118 / #1 = 268 km

Luckily though not a consistent liar
""They are debating veracity with everything but brickbats," Bulak informed, somewhat as if compelled to mention an obscene subject. "You are a consistent liar. Therefore, the statement itself must be a lie. Therefore, you are not a consistent liar. The conclusion is that you can be a consistent liar only by not being a consistent liar. Yet you cannot be a consistent liar without being consistent."
"That's bad," Hillder sympathized.
"It's worse," Bulak gave back. "Because if you really are a consistent liar—which logically is a self-contradiction—none of your evidence is worth a sack of rotten muna-seeds. If you have told us the truth all the way through then your final claim to be a liar must also be true. But, if you are a consistent liar, then none of it is true."
"Take a deep breath," advised Hillder.
"But," continued Bulak, taking a deep breath, "since that inal statement must be untrue all the rest may be true." A wild look came into his eyes and he started waving his arms around. "But the claim to consistency makes it impossible for any statement to be assessed as either true or untrue because, on analysis, there is an unresolvable contradiction that—"
"Now, now," said Hillder, patting his shoulder. "It is only natural that the lower should be confused by the higher. The trouble is that you've not yet advanced far enough. Your thinking remains a little primitive." He hesitated, added with the air of making a daring guess, "In fact it wouldn't surprise me if you still think logically."
