Oh, if you have a hotel hell story of your own....Do tell!

Worst I've seen was a nice clean room , but then next ti the bed , right where you walk was a used condom. Fkn filthy.

Complained to front desk , recieved free upgrade.

Chang Park resort and spa - koh Chang, booked a few days in there because Sea View was full, paid up front with the cc, arrived
 at the place shown the room....why smell of damp ?....whys the fking bed wet..look up ceiling all we...roofs leaking you kants..


.we give you new room, stayed one night and next day went on the hunt for a new hotel, found one, went back and checked out, why you leaving ? You hotel is sh×t, what you want ? A refund would be good...cannot...fk you then

Any country that voted in an arrogant toff like that as PM deserves him, a-la the USA.

Couple of years ago missus and I flew down to BKK, she booked a hotel online, Soi 21 or 22, off Suk. When we got there I thought Oh no ! as we were the only ones there who were NOT Indian or Pakistani. Went up to 4th floor, elevator and hallway carpet smelled like stale p**s, room had a musty smell but was bareable, just.
Did my best to get drunk enough that night to sleep through it, but could hear other guests ranting and raving til all hours outside our room.

Talking to the Thai girl at the reception desk the next morning, rude and ill-mannered Indian guy came up to the desk and started going off at girl like we were not even there. Both her and I gave the rude cant a mouthful, her in Thai and me in English.

Did not even step foot in the dining room for our "included" breakfast, it looked like a war zone and smelled funny.

* Note to self - Don't let her book hotels online again, ever.

Lucky it wasn't the Downtown Inn !

Note to self, dont ever book hotels in a red light area again.

May as well have stayed at Hotel Nana. Only ever stayed there once for one night because I could not get a room at the Dynasty. I swear someone had taken a p**s on the carpet in that room the night before.

* Note to self - Stop sleeping in rooms that reek of p**s !

Funnily enough the best hotel I ever stayed at was in Jodhpur in India. The standard of the room itself, the service, meals etc were the best I had ever seen.

That's the place my boss and I got on the Kingfisher beer in the bar after "work" (it was 48 degrees that day and we worked up a thirst) sitting at a table, and every time the waiter brought us a big bottle of beer it was wrapped in a white towel and he showed us the label like it was a $100 bottle of wine. We were laughing, in the end boss said - "Yeah ok, we know what we are drinking, you don't have to show us every bottle"
Gave the guy a good tip we did, he was a nice fellow. His supervisor had a go at him for talking to us too much about the cricket, we told that prik to pull his head in, he's our waiter and he can talk to us about anything he likes !
