Soon to be Ex CEO affer his comments today. Total bellendery Certainly I read another interesting article which stated technically speaking the victim in this case has/had broken the law for not obeying the Captain/flight crews instructions and in theory the airline could have him charged by the Rozzers Maybe the guy was gobby but not an excuse for what they did to him

That would never be allowed in Thailand, if it was a Thai carrier. They would probably deny it.

I'll be buying shares tomorrow. Bad news like this equals good news for investors.

Call me a cynic, but is that why the CEO has issued a formal apology.

You have a point...but the airport police are not a listed company , and police brutality stories are 10 a penny, but the fact remains they should not be kicking off paying passengers to accomdate their own staff, this is not a case of "overbooking" as such

Strange to know the meaning of Volunteer according to United. volunteer: Someone we tell to do something
random: The person our computer says will cost us less to disembark.

Check again, he is a doctor as he has qualified with a MD. What he does not have is a full practice certificate. What may have made him even more concerned to be on the flight is that he was due to start his supervised clinical practice at a hospital and presumibly if he did not make the flight could not make it.

My understanding is that he had been struck off, and was now on restricted practice - whatever the case may be that is actually totally irrelevant to the treatment dished out towards a paying customer.
