Borussia Dortmund bus explosions: Monaco match cancelled as Marc Bartra taken to hospital Borussia Dortmund's team bus was hit by three explosions while on its way to the Champions League semi-final against Monaco on Tuesday evening, leaving one player injured in hospital. German security sources said it was a targeted attack on the team bus, leaving the vehicle's windows shattered. Police said "serious explosive devices" were used. A German prosecutor said a letter found near the site of the attack "takes responsibility for the act". Police said there are high levels of security in place due to the risk of a terror attack - but that they did not want to jump to conclusions and say the Dortmund explosions was terror-related. Germany is on high terror alert following a spate of recent attacks, several of which have been claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terror group. Spanish international, Marc Bartra, was receiving treatment for a hand injury, while other players were left in shock. The game was postponed to Wednesday evening, with Borussia Dortmund fans offering Monaco supporters accommodation in the city so they can watch the match. I thought that as well, nothing i saw on the beep this morning and when i read it in the telegraph, thought they may have it wrong I have read in orher sources,there is a letter claiming responsibilty, but the police refuse to name who or why More mental patients again perhaps ? |

I thought that as well, nothing i saw on the beep this morning and when i read it in the telegraph, thought they may have it wrong It reminds me of the governmental panic after the failed attacks in London two weeks after 52 people were killed. We're now looking at one attack per week ( assuming this is ISIS type ). The people won't stand for it. |

Start attacking football players and clubs in the UK and you will have a new crusade in the making, the natives will put up with a lot of things but messing with their football and there will be war , believe the Millwall Bushwackers are already recruiting for a trip to Baghdad |

It's still a bit unclear.
The two suspects, one of them freed already are a 25-yo Iraqi and a 28-yo German from Fröndenberg (Kreis Unna).
At the explosion location a letter in triplicate has been found as well as online one on linksunten.indymedia.org a left-extrem site. The letter found at the location seems dubious as 'normal' references are missing. The online letter starts with "Im Namen Allahs des Gnädigen, des Barmherzigen".

If it was ISIS the usual will happen, the anti-Muslim stuff, as would be expected. But if it turns out to be done by some other mob all will go quiet - "My boy would never do a thing like that" ! Did I just hear a pin drop ?

Thinking further here there is one more option. Seeing how Aftonbladet reported in the aftermath of the Stockholm terror attack that cars should be banned, should Europe just ban football instead? That way there can be no further attacks on football teams or stadiums. Perhaps the announcement that football is to be banned, along with cars, knives, public assembly at the same time as we are reminded not be "cowed" nor to let the terrorists change our lives? |

It's like online poker. You can slow play every hand - only acting on the timing buzzer, make ridiculous comments at inappropriate times, annoy another player so much that he flips and goes all in. It's called putting the opponent "on tilt". This is what the MSM and lefties did to Trump. Since he won the election fair and square he has been bombarded by nonsensical news reports blaming him for every bad thing since the 30's, #notmypresident, accusing his wife of being a hooker, threatening his kids, accusing him of bigotry, racism, lefties have violently attacked anyone and everyone, tried to burn down Trump tower, and he has finally cracked. This was a very silly thing for the left to have done as we will now have all out war with Russia and a nuclear/chem war with N Korea. Not very clever guys! Next time play fair and we will all be OK. |
