Unfortunately quite a few of them. At least three of them, quite a few times, on the 10 acre block I had at Traveston in SE QLD, and more in the desert and on Cape York doing seismic work. As well as lots of big angry sea snakes working on prawn trawlers in the north and PNG.
Have seen one black cobra in CR when I lived there. Hate the bloody things.

If I could I would gladly kill every snake in Australia. I aim for the damn things in my car and take out a couple a week.

I agree , hate snakes. I'd love to dump 100 poisonous snakes on those snake lovers door step and see if they still love them. |

As far as i can see that list is not quite correct, the number 1 most venomous snake in the world is Belcher’s Sea Snake

They killed what was eating their grain and rice stocks. Can't see the list, my closest encounter was when feeding the dog. I didn't see the Monocled Cobra close to it's dish. I only noticed when it hissed as it slithered off. |

But after doing a bit of reading on it I think it's because it's a sea snake that it does not make most of the lists of deadly snakes. The power of it's toxin is scary, makes the land snakes look ordinary. |
